Create diffused, even lighting with our wide range of softboxes.
Useful tip: For "soft" light, place your modifier 1-1.5x it's diameter from your subject. For example, a 4ft softbox placed 4-6ft from your subject will give you a soft look to your lighting with smooth, diffused edge shadows.

Focusing Rod
Used in conjunction with our parabolic softboxes
This focusing rod enables you to change the position of the flash within our deep parabolic softboxes, producing different looks with the same modifier. Slide the light to its outer-most position to produce a more even, yet still specular quality of light. Or move the light closer to the back of the softbox, to produce a light quality which has more contrast.
This shouldn't be combined with any diffusion panels at all, and should always be placed on our heavy duty wheeled stands with a counterweight for safety.
