We have many options for supporting our range of flash heads and LED lighting.
Parallel Boom
The parallel boom is a firm favourite at the studio, allowing shots simply not possible with normal lighting stands.
This is a very large piece of equipment, meaning that the stand itself stays out of the way whilst you bring your light of choice above / in front of your subject.
This stand can also be used as camera boom, great for product photography or photographing a model from above.
Simply set the position of the counter-weight once your lighting modifiers are attached, and you'll be able to very quickly position your light where it's needed.
Wall Mounted Scissor Booms
These flexible wall-mounted booms support loads of up to 10kg, making it suitable for heavier head and modifier combinations. The pantograph-style extension mechanism enables the boom to extend smoothly up to 120cm from the wall whilst rotating a full 180° for great flexibility in positioning the light.
Featuring a 2-sectioned riser, which can be extended between 48cm and 80cm in addition to moving up and down the main 120cm column.
We currently have these positioned on both sides of our infinity wall, minimising clutter in your photos and greatly reducing trip hazards.
Pistol Grip Column Stand
Whilst this can be used just like any other wheeled light stand, it's talents really shine when adding more than one pistol grip to the column, allowing placement of multiple lights on a single stand.
Perfect for clamshell lighting with a key light and kicker, or for butterfly/paramount lighting. The central column is offset from your lens axis, meaning you have a clear shooting path underneath / between the lights.
Place your lights 8ft up, or skimming the floor. With four pistol grip attachments at the studio, this is one of the most versatile lighting stands available.
Heavy Duty Wheeled Light Stands
These chunky C-Stands on wheels have a massive 30kg load capacity and extend to a height of 305cm.
Wheeled Floor Stands
We have two of these small but heavy duty floor stands that can get your lights down low.
Use them with just the standard spigot, or attach one of our short extension arms for heights of 45-65cm.
Heavy Duty "Super Boom"
A versatile, telescopic, wheeled boom stand.
We tend to use this more as a camera support as the ease of adjusting angles with the rotating section lends itself very well to flat lay product photography.
But this stand will also work great for anything else you may need to boom.
