We have always been big fans of gel lighting at the studio!
We stock hundreds of small gel sheets in a variety of colours and densities in stock, separated in to the main colour groups to make them easier to find.
In addition to the small gel sheets that work great with our magnetic gel holders, we also have huge sheets/rolls of everything from CTO gels to neutral density and dozens of other colours.
So whether you're looking to simply correct white balances to match with other light sources by using CTO or CTB gels, or get innovative with a triadic colour creation - we have you covered!

Colour Correction Gels
Utility gels for altering white balance / colour temperature
CTO (colour temperature orange) and CTB (colour temperature blue) correction gels that allow you to match or manipulate white balances between different light sources.
Adding a CTO gel to our daylight balanced flash heads for example would mean you can mix them seamlessly with lights that have a tungsten colour temperature.
We stock different densities of both flavours, but stacking lower density gels will give the same result.
Neutral Density Gels
Technical sheets for removing flash power
We have many large rolls and sheets of these ND (Neutral Density) gels which allow you to remove power from any of our studio light sources without compromising the way the light looks.
This is perfect for anyone that wants the stopping power of flash whilst using wide apertures for shots like shallow depth of field portraits.
The ND gels come in different densities, but can also be stacked to remove additional stops of light.
Use these with our magnetic gel holders for a hard light source, combine with an umbrella for softer light, or attach them to the front of or in the back of our many softboxes, beauty dishes etc.
Magnetic Gel Holder
DIY modifier based on the 6 inch umbrella reflectors
- Steel rings attach to the front of these small modifiers with multiple magnets, securely pinning a gel sheet in place
- Pair these with our wide range of umbrellas to create a large, soft, coloured light source from a gel sheet as small as 5 inches square
- With hundreds of gel sheets in many hues, shades and densities available, these can add lots of creative possibilities to your project
