At Trident Studio, we use Godox QT series flash heads for reliability and consistency of power and colour.
Absolute workhorses, delivering high power output, ultra short flash durations with blazingly quick recycle times.

Universal Flash Triggers
Godox FT16
These radio triggers mount to your camera, allowing you to fire the studio flashes. They'll work on any camera with a standard hot shoe. They allow for remote power control of individual heads/groups for fast set-up and adjustments on the fly.
We recommend a shutter speed of 1/160th when using these triggers, this seems to be the sweet spot that works for everyone.

* Universal exceptions: Mobile phones, cameras without a hot shoe, old Sony/Minolta cameras with the inverted hot shoe, Canon 200Dii (and any others with a missing centre pin on the hot shoe).
Specialist Flash Lighting
Godox QT1200ii and QT600ii heads
Use of these heads is by prior arrangement only.
They open up some more technical shooting options than our regular flash heads above, including: HSS (high speed sync), Multi mode (several flashes in a single exposure) and rear curtain sync (flash fires at the end of an exposure, rather than at the start).
Please note: Brand specific triggers are required to use the special features of these flash heads. Currently, we have Godox XPro triggers for Sony and Canon only.

!!WARNING!!WARNING!!WARNING!!WARNING!!
Please, please remove the plastic protective cap before powering on the flash heads. The 250w halogen modelling lamps get very hot, very quick. They will melt the plastic caps in a matter of minutes.
